Health Care assistants also known as caregivers are trained to professionally assist patients with Activities of Daily Living such us feeding, positioning, elimination within hospitals, home based care and homes for the elderly . The are trained to interpret basic medical instructions and assist individual patients on the same.

KCSE mean grade of D Minus(D-) and above.
