The Hospital pharmacies operate 24 hrs a day serving both outpatients and inpatients. All our pharmacies are certified and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya. Drug Information
Our pharmacy offers drug information to our patients, doctors and other healthcare providers free of charge. “Patient education is at the heart of our drug information service especially for patients on medication for chronic disease conditions”.
Toxicology/Poison Information
Our pharmacy staffs at the Hospital are competent in providing clinicians with poison management information including identification, classification of poisons, effects of exposure to the poison, treatment – both supportive and use of antidotes.
Online Pharmacy
You can now order for your prescribed drugs online at any of our hospitals.
Prescription
Our pharmacies serve all prescriptions that include online, outpatient (over the counter and prescription-only medicine) and inpatient across all our branches.
CCC Program
The Nairobi Women’s Hospital, in collaboration with the Government of Kenya (GOK) and our charitable arm Gender Violence Recovery Centre (GVRC), offers Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) after examination and testing by our doctors, prevention of mother to child transmission and TB medicine free of charge.
